Event requirements
- If you arrive on site and there is a helicopter down, do not enter.
- The Army command or Wiregrass SCCA leadership may expel or bar any individual for violation of any rule. We are allowed to use Hunt Stage Field by the US Army, and that privilege can be revoked at any time. Please work with the Wiregrass SCCA and help in the caretake of this facility.
- When you arrive on the stagefield you must sign the SCCA waiver. Everyone on site must sign the waiver.
- Entrants are responsible for their guests. Entrants can be disqualified and asked to leave if their guests do not follow our policies and procedure
- Pets must be leashed and have a responsible handler with then at all times. No pet is allowed in the competitive hot areas!
- No alcohol is allowed on site
- No smoking while on stage field grounds
- No firearms, or weapons are permitted on facility grounds.
- All trash must be placed in proper trash receptacles. Leaving trash will be grounds for exclusion from future events.
- You must bring a valid driver's license. To receive either the Military or Member discount you must bring appropriate ID.
- Your car must pass a SCCA safety inspection. Once you arrive on site, please prep your car for tech by cleaning it out.
- You must display both a class and car number on your car. We have paper numbers and classes on site. If you do not know your class go here and ask, WiregrassSCCA, or https://www.scca-classifier.com/a/index.html
- Drivers/Passengers under the age of 19 must have a completed Minor Waiver. MINOR WAIVERS, children above 12) are critical and must be correctly completed at the event (SCCA Minor SCCA Officer) or notarized PRIOR TO THE EVENT (SCCA Minor for Notary)- This Waiver must be printed and executed in color. It can be found in the previous links. Your guardian must also be present to sign appropriate waivers upon entry to the site.
- Children under 12 are not-permitted in hot areas: staging and run areas specifically. A parent must accompany minors at all times while in the paddock.
- Passengers are permitted, but must sign the waiver and meet height and weight requirements.
- We will run rain or shine. Army/associated activities take precedence over our events.
- Please keep in mind that there is an expectation of you having to work and this may include running to reset cones and standing for extended periods.
- EVERYONE WORKS! If you drive your heat and decide to just leave without working your assignment, you'll likely not be able to run with the club again as this will put an incredible burden on the other course workers. We understand emergencies can come up but please DO NOT abuse the efforts of the good folks of the sport. Notifiy event staff so we may adjust going forward.
- We will make accomodations for people with physical limitations. Please let us know.
- Speed limits: posted speed limits must be obeyed at all times. Where not posted otherwise, the speed limit is fifteen (15) miles per hour throughout the site, and five (5) miles per hour in the Paddock.
- The ashpalt runways not adjacent to the concrete surface are off limits.
- Golf carts, four wheelers, pit cars, pit bikes, bicycles, and other pit vehicles are permitted in the paddock area only. Common sense and care must be applied in their use. All drivers / riders of pit vehicles must carry a valid driver’s license and operate vehicles only on paved surfaces.
- Efficiency is a priority at our events, we typically use a "2 Run Group" format and get 7-8 runs. We will have a 30 minutes lunch break.
- Cameras, lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Coolers are allowed, but are subject to search by Wiregrass SCCA or Army personnel.
- No abusive behavior or vandalism. No unlawful activities. Federal, state, and local laws must be obeyed. Either may result in ejection and/or arrest.
