Event requirements
Run/Work Assignments
SCCA Solo is a cooperative event to keep costs as low as possible. Entrants will be separated into Run and Work Groups. During the event day these groups will swap roles when either the number of runs or a set time per group has been reached. All entrants will be required to work an assigned duty at the event either before or after they have driven their competition runs. Report to the Admin Bus or Tent at the start of a Run/Work Group to get your assignment. A no-show for a work assignment is cause for deletion of timed results and awards. Run/Work Groups will be assigned in the morning after registration and check-in have closed. Solo events may run into the mid to late afternoon - competitors should plan to stay until the event is completed.
Minors
A Minor Waiver must be completed and submitted at Check-in for drivers and passengers 17 years old and younger. Minor Waivers require both parents/legal guardians to sign and cover participation in "hot" areas like grid or course. Forms can be completed online at Login Required or via paper forms (notarized or witnessed by an SCCA official). Minors under 12 are not allowed in hot areas, and 12+ must be SCCA members. Annual Waiver for minors is highly recommended.
BOTH parents' signatures along with the minor's signature must be present and witnessed by a notary public or by an IndySCCA official at registration. If a parent/guardian has sole custody, the parent/guardian must have a completed and signed affidavit stating he/she has sole custody and no other parent/guardian has a lawful claim to custody of the minor.

Car Numbers
Per SCCA Solo rules, car numbers must be a minimum of 8" high with a 1.25" wide stroke. Class letters must be a minimum of 4" high with a 0.75" wide stroke. Numbers and letters may be made of any durable material that contrasts with the car’s paint. “Shoe-polish” numbers are not be allowed.
Positioning the numbers on the car’s paint is preferred, but numbers may be placed on the car’s rear-side windows providing the background provides a high contrast. We will allow tape as long as the finished product meets requirements and the tape is on the car before tech inspection.
