Held under 2021 SCCA RallyCross Rules
St Louis Region SCCA RallyCross Event RX8 "Bring A Lightbar" Saturday, November 13th, 2021.
Location: 50 Big Bend Rd, Granite City, IL 62040, Grass Field north of World Wide Technology Raceway,
Take 203N to the first traffic light past WWTR entrance. Turn right onto Bend continue straight until you reach a gravel road on the right, turn onto the gravel road and go about .2 mile to site.
Cost: $50 members $65 non-members (includes weekend membership)
Entry fees payed at site can only be made by cash or check.
All persons driving in a car at this event must have an SCCA membership, either full or weekend. Ride-alongs are free but are required to sign a waiver as well.
Everyone is required to sign a waiver.
All entrants are required to work at the event.
Helmets must be worn by all drivers and passengers during competition. Helmets must be in good condition, fit properly, provide adequate peripheral vision and the chin strap must be securely fastened. All helmets meeting the latest or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA2015, SAH2010, SA2010, SA2005, M2015, M2010, M2005 K2015, K2010, K2005), SFI standards 31.1, 41.1, 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A or British spec BS6658-85 type A/FR are acceptable.
Loaner helmets will NOT be available at event Due to Covid-19 concerns.
All vehicles must have a signed tech sheet prior to competing. You will be given a Tech sheet at time of check-in/ registration if you do not print one out prior to arriving. Tech inspection will be the responsibility of each competitor. If you require assistance in tech-ing your own vehicle, contact an event official and someone will help you. Please place tech sheet on your windshield, open your hood and have your helmet ready for inspection once you are in grid. Your car should be race ready when you bring it to grid.
Penalties: 2 seconds per displaced cone; 10 seconds for missed gate
SCHEDULE
2:00 - 3:45 pm. Registration and course walk is open
3:45 - 4:00 pm COURSE IS CLOSED (make sure your tech sheet is turned in before registration closes)
4:00 - 4:15 pm. Drivers meeting
4:30 pm First car off the line
Each Heat will get at least five runs (Subject to increase based upon event progress)
Fuel, Air and food and water are available at the Pilot Truck Stop located at 203N and Ohio Ave (Directly across from WWTR entrance) approximately 1 mile from event site.
Event requirements
Supplemental Rules:
1. 10 mph speed limit on gravel road.
2. Cars when exiting the the course to the Paddock and Grid area must come to a complete STOP when crossing the gravel road-this is a public road and is not closed.
